the 6th of October this year. It is observed in all states including Karnataka, Odisha, Tripura, and West Bengal are focus more on the Durga puja, and in other states like Gujarat, Maharastra they celebrate Navratri.

The belief in the Hindu Mythology that Goddess Durga was born on this particular day, through Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheswar to fight the demon King Mahishasura. Thus, devotees celebrate today as the coming of Goddess Durga to Earth from Kailash Parvat, with her divine power.

Durga Puja begins this year on the 11th of October and will conclude on October 15 by offering Dashmi and Dusshera.
